Voice actor Matthew Mercer leads a group of fellow voice actors on epic Dungeons & Dragons actual play campaigns. Critical Role is a fantastic mix of creative characters, excellent voice acting, and energetic Dungeon Mastering. Very entertaining!
Episode 1 - Arrival at Kraghammer
Matthew strings together impressive dungeon descriptions, and has a seemingly endless assortment of voices he uses to bring life to the NPC characters that the Vox Machina team meet. His combat descriptions are equally impressive, and he moves through combat with an urgency and flair that really adds to the tension of the battle.
And of course, everybody waits for him to say “How do you want to do this,” signifying the moment in time when the PC gets to narrate the killing blow!
